If you don't know Gackt, he's a Japanese rock star known for his permed hair and rather pretty looks. Often cited as the reference source for Final Fantasy VIII's Squall Leonhart.
Once you get over the WTF factor, I actually really love this artwork and I'm somewhat reluctant to part with this game. If you've played Metal Gear Solid 2 to completion (and if you haven't, please leave), you'll know that this artwork ties in nicely to the game's theme of genetics and what we leave for our children. And so this art symbolizes the transfer of generational knowledge. In fact, I think this cover artwork is much more cerebral and image-filled than most. If the Criterion Collection included games, this would be the cover for MGS2. Can you imagine the minds blown if Kojima had decided on this as the final artwork for all editions?

The game comes COMPLETE with the game disc, manual, and original box, and special edition slipcover. This title is quickly becoming a collectors' item, so buy it now before it gets snapped up!
