This is an uncommon late variant of OG Tetris: The box, manual, and cartridge label all specify 'Licensed to Nintendo by the Tetris Company' with no mention of Bullet-Proof Software. According to the official Tetris Website, the Tetris Company was founded in 1996 to manage the Tetris IP rights, which means this pressing is from 1996 or later, very late for a game that originally released in 1989. Also the model number has been incremented from DMG-TRA to DMG-TRA-1.

This game is region-free and playable on all Game Boys worldwide. The menus in Tetris are entirely in English so there is no language barrier to play. Japanese import.
