Vintage Signed Sterling Silver Krypell looped clip on earrings clip-on 40 gr

Beautiful vintage sterling silver "doorknocker" clip on earrings by Krypell. The earrings are stamped "Krypell Sterling" They are 2 1/4 inch tall and 1 1/2 inch wide. The hoop is separated from the clip ons. They are not detachable, they are within a soldered holder. So the loops will move to and fro while the clip on stays stationary.
They are 40 grams (together).
This pair of earrings feature a distinct art deco or mid-century modernist aesthetic with a ribbed "fan"or "shell" motif integrated into a circular ring. It is stamped "sterling" and "Krypel". It may have originated from Taxco Mexico.
