    Escapement Files are incredibly fine needle files, which are usefull for filling in narrow spaces or for very intricate and detailed work.

     Watch our when using the Escapement files because of the fact that they can break due to them being rather thin.

    Usually used in small areas for very delicate work or for watch movements.

These Escapement Barrette Files are tapered in width and thickness, ending in a rounded sharp point. Only the flat side is cut, with the back of the file being safe.

Also known as square handle needle files, these files are used in watchmaking, finishing, extrusion dies, jewelry repair and other fine work.

Escapement files are used for the most delicate and precise filing requirements.

Escapement files have square handles and are always 5-1/2" (14cm) long from tip to handle end.
