Silicone gaskets are used during vacuum casting to seal perforated flask ring and casting chamber.  The Silicon acts as a sealing layer between the hot flask and the casting chamber flange adapter Gasket provides a good seal, allowing the vacuum to fully pull the molten metal into the flask.

These gaskets have a thickness of 1/8" and come in various diameters to work with individual flask OD sizes. 

Gasket has a wide surface area over 5/8" to assure a good seal.
