up for consideration is a fine old Victorian Nickel plated silver colored Fireplace surround. It measures about 60 inches long with a height of about 12 inches and a depth of 15 inches. It really is quite an interesting piece as quite often things of this era are brass colored...so it is refreshing to see a nickel plating which gives it a silver colored finish. Overall it is in good condition and I have not found any makers marks. It dates from about 1895 or so or the turn of century. The tubing has very nice textured decorative finish.
