This mid-century modern cake stand manufactured by Duchin Creations in the
1940s–1950s, features a beautifully patterned clear pressed-glass platter secured with a weighted sterling silver pedestal base.The heavy glass top showcases a striking, radiant diamond starburst pattern framed by a classic hobnail/beaded rim. The base is stamped on the bottom with, STERLING - DUCHIN SILVER - WEIGHTED. It’s a perfect addition for vintage collectors, wedding dessert tables, or grandmillennial home decor styling.Details:• Dimensions: 4½" tall with a 10½" plate diameter• Condition: The glass plate has no chips or cracks. Very minor scratch marks present. The sterling silver weighted base has vintage patina.•2 Piece Design: The clear glass top cleanly unscrews from the sterling silver weighted base making it easy to wash safely and simple to store.
