Vintage Blenko Clear Glass Elephant Bookends Set Of 2, Designed By Joel Myers

This is a unique set of Blenko Glass handcrafted clear glass elephant bookends
designed by Joel Myers. The front of the bookends have a textured feel, the sides and back are smooth. Each has an embossed elephant on one side. They measure 6 3/4" tall with a 5 3/4" width and 1 1/2" depth. Both weigh almost 5# each. Tiny air bubbles are present in areas (consistent with age). There is a possible chip on the textured front of one of the bookends however the area is smooth so it may be just a blemish in the glass. The other bookend has a line through the glass, this is not a crack. Both imperfections shown in last two pictures.Friendly reminder that vintage items may have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
