This beautiful pair of Blenko Glass Company hand-blown emerald green glass
bookends was designed by Wayne Husted. They feature a swirling pattern with a heart design on one side.These bookends were first introduced in 1969 and continued to be produced thru 1973.They are 6 1/2" tall and 5 3/4" wide with a varying depth of 1 3/4" to 2".One weighs 5# 1oz and the other weighs 5# 7oz.Both of the bookends are in very good vintage condition. Free from chips and cracks. One of the bookends has a small part on its edge that is not smooth. It does not appear to be chips but more an issue during manufacturing (shown in last picture). Friendly reminder that vintage items often have imperfections due to age, previous use, or manufacturing blemishes consistent with the era of their origin.
