Up for consideration is a fine old Antique pair of late 18th early 19th century
silhouettes in incredible period cast bronze frames. Overall dimensions are 12.5 inches in height with a width of 7.25 inches. The opening at the back is 5 inches by 7.90 inches. These have their original wooden paneled backs and of which they are extremely well constructed...both have contemporary catches to hang from. The silhouettes are well done but are unsigned. They are hand painted on thin artist paper and of which are mounted along the top edge to a cardboard backing. These are from Europe.
