Up for consideration is a fine Bronze and Marble Sculpture known as "Sleeping
Cupid" Aft. Giovacchio Fortini (1670-1736). This wondefully sculpted piece is of fine quality and dates from the mid to the latter part of the 19th century. It measures 12 inches in length by 7 inches deep by about 7.25 inches in height. The original version has cloth draped over the lower portion of Cupid whereas this one does not. It really is quite a nice piece and would be considered from the Napaleon III era if in fact if it were French in origins. However Fortini is Italian but copies were made by anyone who wished to pursue that endeavor. Please see photos as part of the description.
