Up for consideration is fine associated pair of painted metal French Regence
Cachepots Cache Pots. The date at least from the early 19th Century and may be even earlier. The stand about 4 inches in height with a diameter of of 5.25 inches. The form and casting of the mounts are identical with some slight variation is coloration...however the underlying pattern is similar. They really have that old world charm and are just marvelous. Both have deposit buildup in the interiors from years of watering etc but both appear to hold water. The more colorful one is painted so in a faux Cloisonne whereas the other shows some similar faux work along the bottom stand. Nonetheless they are wonderful.
