Up for consideration is a 19th Century probably Italian made Antique Rod
Marionette Puppet with rod and hand carved and painted Middle Eastern man. The piece measures in total height 43 inches with the head alone measuring about 10 inches. The piece sports it's original paint. It has great decorative appeal. These were used from about the 17th century into the end of the 19th century then a different style took place allowing more movement utilizing strings etc. Buyer pays shipping.
