Antique Leather 1920's Floral Urn Fireplace Screen Oil Painting Folds 37"h x41"

$ 950.00
Up for perusal is a very nice faux leather fireplace screen from the 1920's. The
piece measures 37 inches in height with and extended width of 41 inches when flat. That means each side measures about 10 inches with the center panel measuring 21 inches. The sides can fold forward or back. Do not confuse this with pieces done in the late 80's this is from the teens and or 1920's or so. Furthermore many that you see around including ones I have presently and ones purchased in the past  are usually in brown and of which the color schemes are difficult to appreciate in today's world of fashion. My point this one has a great palette and it is in surprisingly good condition. The bottom area shows some normal old crazing and or craquelure. No touchups or visible repairs. The piece is still dusty even after wiping it done a few times. Another point I would like to make about my photos etc...if I stage the dog gone piece perfectly etc...then for the most part there is no expectation than it being less than perfect to me it takes some of the fun out of it also.  There are a lot things out there that people try to make them look old when they are not. So I am not trying to take the perfect photo and most people viewing and enjoying these things understand the quality already from past experiences...so to me that leads to better than anticipated results upon arrival secondly the buyer takes ownership not in the notion of cleaning it but literally finding it also and bringing out the best in the piece... It was purchased at a very eccentric estate over the past week. The old fellows who had more money than anything owned a founding home in a quaint town in Michigan. They did not live in it but simply as a hobby bought things and placed them in the home...it got so bad that things started stacking up and so on and so on.  Please message me if you have any questions something to share.. buyer pays shipping.

Best Regards,

John
