Up for consideration is an early fantastic floral painting by hyper or photo
realist artist Michael Gerry of (?-2008). The painting measures 30" by 30" not including the frame. It is signed lower right and is titled and dated on the back "White Petunas VI 1989". It comes from a super clean estate of which the lady loved oil paintings and sculptures from this era. The painting is so well done it looks like a photograph...but upon closer inspection one can see the brush strokes when examining the work with a loop and or magnifying glass...not only is the painting absolutely the best of the best it comes with it's original bill of sale from a Michigan Art Gallery that sold the work probably on consigment with the Gallery as the date of the bill matches the date of the work. This will accompany the sale. In the world of collecting this puts the painting on top shelf rating as there is no mystery surrounding the provenance and authenticity...and with all things considered a necessary component in "World of Art".
