0514----1898 MEADVILLE PA 15TH PVI CO B SPANISH AMERICAN WAR SOLDIER ORIGINAL cabinet photo of an unidentified soldier with the 15th PA regiment (Co B) from Meadville PA. As indicated on the reverse, this photo was taken at Sheridans Point VA on Aug 7, 1898.   The regiment was formed around the Pennsylvania National Guard and consisted of 8 companies mainly from Western PA. Company B was formed in Meadville PA. The photo remains in VG condition, but missing the top right corner. The photo is much clearer than shown. The overall size is 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.
