0559----1917 PLATTSBURG NY CAMP - LT WILLIAM A. WALSH 305TH FA - LEWISTON ME Original real photo postcard depicting a group of WWI soldiers in camp at Plattsburg NY, 1917. Although only signed "Will" determined to be "William A. Walsh" writing to his sister "Louise" back home in Lewiston ME.  According to his correspondence he is pictured in the photo, which could be id'd with the research. He references Memorial Day and a baseball they are watching.  Information was found on this game as well as other events of the day. The postcard is in VF condition with one corner crease.
