0819----1892 JM HENRY LETTER - IMMINENT DEATH OF MOTHER HATTIE WEST MILLGROVE OH Original 1892 letter from John M. Henry of West Millgrove Ohio, to his Uncle Orrin Henry in Columbus, concerning the imminent death of John's mother Hattie Henry. Mrs. Henry did indeed pass away shortly after this letter (see research below). Those from Bowling Green Ohio, are most likely familiar with Captain Orrin Henry, the well known night watchman at the Ohio Penitentiary in Columbus. The letter is one page, in Vg condition and is transcribed below.  No envelope is included. Newspaper research presented below is digital only, and cannot be included with the letter. Dear Uncle.  Received your kind letter.  It found Ma about the same, but last night about 12 o'clock she began to grow worse and is now very bad.  She has become flighty and does not comprehend scarcely any thing.
