5091----C1885 THERON FOOTE HORSE WAGON CABINET PHOTO - LEE (BERKSHIRE) MASS An original cabinet photo c. 1885 depicting a man and his horse drawn wagon with advertising on the side "T.L. Foote Green Water Mill."    This is the very well known citizen and businessman of Lee, Berkshire County MA "Theron Foote." He was the proprietor of a flouring and grist mill and breeder of cattle.  Please review his obit below from 1900. We are assuming the man is Mr. Foote, but could be an employee. The photo is in VG condition with some creasing and paper loss around the borders, but this does not detract from the fine image.  Some lightening from age.  Overall measurement of the image including the heavy stock backing is 14 x 9-1/4. The back of the image has an important photographer hand stamp "Photo by W.L. Lawrence, Union Block, Dalton MA, All orders by mail promptly attended to." Absolutely NO returns on original photographs and documents. * * * * * * * * * * *
