Description
7380----1886 NIAGARA FALLS GAZETTE - BURNING OF GRAHAM'S BARREL ON DAY OF STUNT
Rare issue of the Niagara Falls Gazette, Aug 19, 1886.
Contains an important historic article on the attempted burning of daredevil
Carlisle Graham's famous barrel.
The barrel was saved and the culprits were chased away. Graham used the barrel
later the same day to make his second trip through the gorge.
This time he kept his head outside the barrel.
This is the complete 4 page issue with other interesting local and national
news.
Also many great ads of the day. The entire back page contains great travel
information for Niagara Falls activities.
The newspaper is in good condition, considering it's age.
The expected discoloration, some little tears around the borders, etc.
It has been kept in a bound volume for many years, until recently removed.
I have photographed various parts for your review.
Nothing has been cut or altered from this issue.
The newspaper will be shipped flat, securely packaged between thick cardboard
