N129----c1915 Franklin PA glass negatives - rare interior scenes of the YMCA N129----C1915 FRANKLIN PA GLASS NEGATIVES - RARE INTERIOR SCENES OF THE YMCA Amazingly rare views inside the old YMCA on 13th Street, Franklin PA, circa 1910-1920. There are eight original 8 x 10 glass negatives. They were stored in old envelopes with vintage notations: "interior gym plates" and "unidentified, looks like the old YMCA 13th st." The envelopes also have address labels for the "Franklin News Herald", Franklin PA. I am positive these were taken by well known area photographer W.W. Wilt.  Most likely his notations also. The details on each negative are very fine, and I had to crop the full views so it would fit on my scanner. Interesting to note:  There is a man working at the front desk, and there are clothes on the bench and a few pair of shoes on the floor in the locker room.  Perhaps men are working out or in the adjoining shower. The buyer will receive the original negatives and will own the rights to all subsequent images created. scanned images are NOT included. Very fragile, of course. Seven of the eight negatives are in perfect condition.  One has broken into 5 pieces, but I was still able to scan this one. Original images are more in focus than I am able to present in this listing.
