Up for consideration is an wonderful old hand painted hunt scene on a fireplace
folding screen...in tryptich form. The piece is made of 3 panels of which each panel measures 33.25 inches in height by 18.25 inches. This means when fully extended and flat it measures 54.75 inches by 33.25 inches. This somewhat folky painting depicts a fellow hopping over a fence with his setters and gun in hand as they dogs get ready to point to the birds. To the left is the game at hand a pair of Chinese Ring Necked Pheasants and another hen behind the rock...likewise in the first panel is probably the home of the hunter. So yes it is a bit loose but the intial scene in the center isn't so bad and is quite enjoyable on its own.
