Up for consideration is a very rare early illustrative Art painting of a 1st
generation Convertible Chevy Camaro SS with possible options standard and SS options for the 1967 to 1969 production years. The work of art itself is mounted on artist board and measures 8.5 inches by 11.5 inches. With overall dimensions being about 15 by 20 inches. This is the type of work that was used when pitching visual layout of the ad to General Motors execs for approval. These ads were placed in magazines all over the place...which were distributed all over the country and in Canada. The Camaro for the most part was manfactured/assembled in Norwood Ohio and Van Nuys California. Please understand this is a work that is done by hand by one of the firms here in Detroit in the mid 1960's. Purchased from the estate of an original Detroit illustrator who was active at that time and hoarded other works prior to his efforts and after. Please understand I have about 40 pieces to present...
