Antique Victorian Scenes CUT PAPER SILHOUETTE mounted on linen board

Set of 2, Antique, Victorian cut paper oval Silhouette Scenes mounted on individual linen boards. One of these scenes shows a gentleman courting a lady, both in 18th century fashion, under a tree canopy and the other shows two ladies, in fashion of the same period, with one at a piano and the other dancing in a parlor, with a chandelier and framed with pulled back drapery. These scenes measure 6 5/8" wide by 6" high and 7 7/8" wide by 6 1/4" high, respectively, and the boards each measure 10" wide by 8" high and are 1/8" thick. Overall, these pieces are in very good condition, with no tears, folds or knicks in the paperwork, some slight browning to the linen, especially on the edges and folds on the back - see photos for details. A charming set to framing and display or use for wedding decor.
