Club Midnite Signed Bryan House & Others Skateboard Deck San Diego 2016

2016 Club Midnite (San Diego) branded Skateboard Deck signed by Bryan House & others. Club Midnite was a small indie, North County (San Diego) beach culture brand representing a local community of like minded skate, surf and music oriented people started by Andy Beaumarchais and Bryan House. Their message was one of self improvement, of taking your past experiences and to make a better future from them. Brian House, a graphic designer, developed the bold, tongue-and-cheek images for clothing, duffel bags and an occasional skate deck to enhance the positive, party vibe of life as they saw it and called themselves a "party supply company" rather than an apparel company. Gear was produced for late-night surf, skate and music culture inspired by rock-and-roll. Craig "Andy" Anderson was one of several well-known skaters was introduced to and affiliated with the underground brand through mutual industry friends and common community roots of the skate culture in southern CA, skating with its members and "repping" the gear in informal sessions in coastal SD skate spots. The pair was not able to raise sufficient funding for the hyper-local brand and the company they were trying to build from it and so it faded over time, leaving the bold, fun graphics behind and turning their merchandise into collectibles. This skateboard is one of the few skateboards produced by Beaumarchais and House during that time, given to a local (Peter) at a skate event in Encinitas and bears the signature of House and Andersen. The board measures 32" long and approx 8 1/2" wide and weighs 2 lbs 12 oz. The board was only used as wall art, so is still in very good condition - see photos for details. An interesting deck with a special history and retro look.
