Up for consideration is an exceptional torchere lamp of twisted iron, cast iron
and bronze. It stands about 64 inches in height with a base diameter of 12+ inches. The twisted pieces are crimped together. The exterior twisted pieces are darker brown the inner twisted rod is silver. The lamp has not been cleaned so it may lighten. No doubt this lamp had either mica or art glass shade from Steuben or one of the other art glass giants. The swans are finely cast and like many things detail and overall presence is diminished in photos that are not done professionally and even then it's difficult to capture the detail and scale at the same time.
